This beautiful 17th century timber-framed cottage stands in a delightful courtyard setting attached to the rear of Meeson Hall, a majestic country house built in 1640 which today is surrounded by 8-acres of gardens, grounds and rolling farmland beyond.This lovely cottage provides charming quality accommodation, perfect for a family holiday or a romantic break in a truly stunning location.This cottage boasts a wealth of character oak beams, wall timbers, an impressive galleried sitting room with vaulted ceiling and an inglenook fireplace with woodburner, all creating a welcoming and cosy atmosphere.On the ground floor you'll also find a well-equipped kitchen and a cosy study, with stairs leading up to the lovely en-suite master bedroom, twin bedded room and separate family bathroom.The spacious courtyard garden at this cottage is a gardener's delight and is an ideal place to enjoy a drink or alfresco dining on a summer's evening, whilst the estate grounds provide relaxing strolls through woods and paddocks.
